This is the last step before framing. I use this UV-Resistant spray after my painting has cured for 2 weeks. It's the final touch in the series of steps I take to protect your investment. I want to make sure that the painting is well protected from the damaging effects of the sun. I spray this outdoors as it's got quite a pungent smell and needs to be used in a well ventilated area. I also use the mask to ensure I breathe in as little as possible. It's important to evenly spay this so that it doesn't create pockets of too much or too little product as you'll be able to see that after it's dry. I give it 2 coats, and let it sit for 15-20 minutes in between. This product dries pretty fast, however be prepared for the smell to follow the panel indoors for the next few hours. Voila! We have a finished painting, all ready for the frame. I use Modern Painting and Framing in Ottawa. They do a great professional job! Thanks to all who followed this series.
